Description
A community-based project, the Rhode Island 9-11 Wall includes approximately 10,000+ painted ceramic tiles (3,000 square feet of tiles). Originally, the 6 x 6-inch tiles were installed at three locations: on the outside of the Providence Journal Building; inside the Providence Convention Center; and in Waterplace Park.
In 2021, the tiles were relocated to the exterior colonnade between the entrance to the Amica Mutual Pavilion and the entrance to the Rhode Island Convention Center.
