Description

The Roger Williams Landing Place is marked with a plinth and three bronze plaques with inscriptions and one bronze bas-relief. The front of the monument contains an inscription and bas-relief. The bas-relief shows Williams landing in a rowboat with five other men. Williams raises his hand in greeting as seven members of the Narragansett stand and sit on the shoreline of the Seekonk River.
