Aristide Berto Cianfarani

Aristide Berto Cianfarani, an Italian sculptor known for his monuments and war memorials, created the Fox Point Veterans Memorial. He studied at the Rhode Island School of Design nearby and eventually opened a studio in Providence in 1926. In addition to the Fox Point Veterans Memorial, he constructed the Bowen R. Church statue located in Roger Williams Park in Rhode Island. [1] The creation of the Fox Point Veterans Memorial was administered by the state of Rhode Island and paid for by the people of Providence.
